Choosing Your Garage Door
Step 1. Size of the Garage Door
Do you need single car garage doors (usually 8-10 feet wide) or a double car garage door (usually 16-18 feet wide)? Before deciding on a door, we will measure and discuss the options that will best match your needs.

Step 3. Choose your insulation and weathering options
Most of the doors we install are insulated and come with vinyl weather seal to keep the elements out of your garage. If you spend time working in your garage during the cooler months or if you heat your garage, you may want to consider doors that are thicker, provide more insulation, and help you conserve energy in your garage.
As a baseline, Haas doors come in three levels of foam injected polyurethane insulation:

- 1-3/4" thick with an R-Value of 16.18
- 2” thick with an R-Value of 17.66
